Letter from the Founder
We built Clareos because nobody was watching.
March 2026
I spent years watching the wealth management industry fail the people it was supposed to serve. Not through malice, but through misalignment. The advisor who calls once a quarter. The portfolio that drifts for months unnoticed. The tax-loss harvest that never happens because nobody was paying attention on a random Tuesday in November.
The hard truth is that human attention doesn't scale. Your advisor has 200 other clients. They're not watching your portfolio at 2 AM when Asian markets move. They're not cross-referencing your tax lots against your capital gains in real time. They're not thinking about your money when you're not thinking about your money. And you're paying them 1% of everything you have for this.
I started Clareos with a simple question: what if your wealth advisor never slept, never forgot, and never had a conflict of interest? Not a chatbot that answers questions about index funds. A real fiduciary. An autonomous agent that actively manages your financial life with the same care a great human advisor would, but with the vigilance and precision that only software can provide.
This is not about replacing human judgment. It's about building something that watches when no one else is watching. That catches the rebalancing opportunity on a holiday. That remembers you mentioned wanting to fund your daughter's 529 before year-end and actually follows through. That sees your portfolio drifting out of policy at 3 AM and acts on it before the market opens.
I know the question you're asking. Should I trust an AI with my money? It's the right question. We've built Clareos so that every action is transparent, every decision is explainable, and every trade requires your approval until you decide otherwise. The AI proposes. You dispose. Every recommendation comes with the reasoning behind it. No black box.
We're building this for people who have real wealth and real complexity, but who have been underserved by an industry that reserves its best work for the ultra-high-net-worth. If you have $500K or $5M, you deserve the same quality of attention that a $50M client gets. That's what Clareos delivers.
We're early. We're deliberate. And we're building something that I believe will fundamentally change how people experience wealth management. If that resonates with you, I'd love for you to join us.
